The best beaches in Costa Adeje depend on the day you have in mind: sand with facilities nearby, a seaside walk or a short outing before heading home. From Villa Dolce Vita in Armeñime, choose your beach first, then plan the journey. The villa is not beachfront.
This guide compares the main resort beaches and adds two alternatives on the Adeje coast. Facilities are those listed by official tourism sources. Their operation, access routes and swimming conditions can change because of maintenance, works or the sea.

El Duque: a beach day in a hotel-lined setting
El Duque suits a plan combining sand, a stroll and a meal nearby. Tenerife Tourism lists toilets, showers, changing facilities and sunbed and parasol hire. Its directory records easy pedestrian access, adapted access and parking with more than a hundred spaces in the area.
That does not mean spaces will be available or free. Choose an authorised car park and check its charges before entering. Facilities belonging to nearby hotels should not be assumed to come with a beach visit.
Fañabé and Torviscas: facilities for a longer stay
Fañabé has toilets, showers, sunbeds and restaurants, with adapted access and parking listed by the official directory. It can work well for a group wanting to alternate time on the sand with a promenade walk.
Neighbouring Torviscas also offers toilets, showers and sunbed hire. Its listing records adapted access and fewer than fifty parking spaces. Breakwaters provide shelter, but cannot guarantee safe swimming: follow the flag and staff instructions.
For either beach, we suggest allowing extra time and expecting a walk from the car. If you need assistance entering the water, arrange it before setting out. A ramp does not mean assisted bathing is available at any hour.

La Pinta: beside Puerto Colón
La Pinta is an urban beach beside the marina, with a promenade, places to eat, showers and sunbed hire. Tenerife Tourism lists adapted access and nearby parking with more than a hundred spaces. It can suit an outing combining beach time with a walk around the harbour area.
If you also have a boat excursion booked, allow separately for parking and reaching the meeting point. Our whale-watching guide explains how to plan that activity. The beach is not the boarding point, and parking should not be assumed to be included in your ticket.
Troya I and II: sand beside a lively promenade
The Troya beaches combine swimming, restaurants and promenade walks. The official directory lists showers, foot showers, sunbeds and parasols, easy pedestrian access and adapted access. It records no dedicated beach parking, although there are options nearby.
Expect to walk from wherever you leave the car. For a short visit, compare that with taking a taxi or bus. Water activities depend on the operator and conditions, so check what is running on the day.
Other options: La Enramada and Ajabo
La Enramada, near La Caleta, has a gravel surface, nearby places to eat and lifeguarding listed by the municipal tourism website. The same source warns of strong currents. We suggest it for coastal views and walking, rather than automatically treating it as a children’s sandy-beach alternative. The listing does not specify parking: identify a legal space and the access route before travelling.
Ajabo, in Callao Salvaje, offers another part of the Adeje coast to explore. Tenerife Tourism lists showers, sunbeds, toilets and access with steps and ramps, but marks adapted access and parking as unavailable. We therefore do not describe it as accessible simply because ramps exist. The municipal website also warns of strong currents.
Getting there and parking from Villa Dolce Vita
A car makes carrying bags and choosing your return time easier. Set your navigation to a specific parking area or access point, rather than just the beach name. Save the car’s location and read signs, opening hours and payment conditions. We have not confirmed current parking, sunbed or parasol prices, so we do not publish estimates as current rates.
With a taxi, agree on a return pickup point. For buses, use the TITSA journey planner with Armeñime as your starting point and your precise destination. Check the walk from the stop and a suitable return service. Our transport guide helps you compare the choices.
Accessibility, facilities and sea conditions
Before choosing a beach for its access, check the whole journey: from the car or bus stop to the sand, toilets and water. Read our reduced-mobility and assisted-bathing guide, then confirm the assistance you need with the beach service for your visit.
Adeje Council publishes municipal lifeguarding hours for Fañabé, El Bobo and Troya I and II: 9.30am–6.15pm from October to March and 10am–7pm from April to September. Do not apply those hours to every beach or to assisted bathing.
Check signs on arrival and respect closures; a red flag means swimming is prohibited. Official bathing-water checks provide additional information, but a travel guide cannot certify conditions at the moment you visit.
A beach morning, then back to the villa

There is no need to fit several beaches into one day. Choose one, have lunch nearby and return to Villa Dolce Vita to relax. The house offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private heated pool included in the stay, for up to nine guests.
Check dates and prices for your stay at Villa Dolce Vita and plan beach days around your group’s pace.
